Nupi Industrie Italiane S.p.A.
Nupigeco S.p.A. was founded on October 1st 2008 by the merger of two of our companies, NUPI S.p.A. and Geco System S.p.A. - both founded more than 50 years ago. Combining their many years of experience and constant growth, the two firms decided to create a new flexible and advanced company, ready to play its role to satisfy the demands of the market whilst being environmentally astute.
In October 2015, Nupi Industrie Italiane S.p.A. took over Nupigeco S.p.A.
MISSION
The primary goal of Nupi Industrie Italiane S.p.A. corporate strategy is not only the production of systems that meet performance requirements and compliance with the use for which they are intended, but above all general customer satisfaction.
In October 2015, Nupi Industrie Italiane S.p.A. took over Nupigeco S.p.A. was founded on October 1st 2008 by the merger of two of our companies, NUPI S.p.A. and Geco System S.p.A. - both founded more than 50 years ago. Combining their many years of experience and constant growth, the two firms decided to create a new flexible and advanced company, ready to play its role to satisfy the demands of the market whilst being environmentally astute.
The goal was to combine the expertise in the development and production of piping systems for plumbing, industrial applications, gas, irrigation and heating, with the experience in the production of polymer pipes specifically dedicated to oil, chemical and petrochemical fields.
History
1972
Foundation of the first plant of Nupi S.p.A. in Imola, close to Bologna, for the production of polyethylene pipes for water and gas under pressure.
1977
Nupi launches the trademark NIRON for plumbing installations.
1984
Nupi launches the trademark NIRON for plumbing installations.
1994
Geco System launches the ELOFIT fitting range for pipes under pressure.
1996
Nupi S.p.A. opens a new plant in Castel Guelfo (BO), close to Milan, for the production of pipes.
1997
Nupi begins the production of the SMARTFLEX system for the transport of dangerous fluids and fuels.
1998 - 2010
Nupi and Geco System successfully promote over 10 systems for the transport of water and gas under pressure and 3 new systems for the use of renewable energy (ELOSFERA range).
1999
The production of multilayer pipes for plumbing applications begins.
Oct 2008
Nupi S.p.A. and Geco System S.p.A merge to create Nupigeco S.p.A.
2010 - 2015
Nupigeco promotes 10 new product ranges.
Oct 2015
Nupi Industrie Italiane S.p.A.takes over Nupigeco S.p.A.
