In the last 5 years in Sverdlovsk Region various social-economic development programs have been successfully implemented, creating high-capacity jobs, especially in the metallurgy and engineering industry. In the Sverdlovsk Region, the program for the creation and modernization of new jobs implemented 59 innovative projects will be focusing on the modernization of jobs in the processing industry. In 2016, in the region more than 596,000 high capacity production jobs were created. By 2020, an additional 700,000 jobs will be created, including some 250,000 high-productivity jobs in the processing industry.
