ELOFIT fittings have been installed in the new stadium built in Nizhny Novgorod for the Russian 2018 FIFA World Cup and at the new training camp, also built especially for the World Cup. Electrofusion and butt fusion fittings Ø90mm, Ø110mm, Ø160mm, Ø250mm, Ø315mm were used for the water supply system of the new stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 43,319 spectators. Four matches will be played here as well as the semi-finals of the tournament. More than 2,000 people worked on the building site. In Nizhny Novgorod, more infrastructure projects were completed for the 2018 World Cup, including a new subway station by the stadium, restyling works and the installation of services. In addition, the administration completed an important road repair campaign under the "Road safety and quality" project, also building the road links around the stadium.
