NIRON polypropylene pipes reinforced with fiberglass and fittings from diameter 160mm to diameter 450mm were used for the air conditioning system of a major mall center/hotel under construction in Panama City. The theoretical and practical training on butt welding techniques for managers and installers who will install the materials was carried out on site. Over the last couple of years, many businesses migrated from Panama City to the beach but now there are plans to create new spots to attract business and people back to the city. NIRON is a complete polypropylene pipe and fitting system for the distribution of hot and cold water in plumbing and air conditioning systems. NIRON pipes range from monolayer type to 3-layer type with fiberglass to the most complex multilayer type designed to increase the resistance to degradation caused by UV rays. The intermediate layer including fiberglass makes the product more dimensionally stable to thermal shock caused by the transport of fluid at high temperatures.
