For its first 5-star hotel in Playa de Palma in Mallorca, the Hipotels chain has chosen the NIRON random polypropylene copolymer pipe and fitting system. NUPI Industrie Italiane proved once again to be leader on the market thanks to their innovative and efficient solutions. Pipes are the arteries in the circulatory system of a hotel and have a key role in the pumping process. Innovative materials make the systems more durable and sustainable and contribute to a more efficient management of water resources, which are fundamental in a hotel. Insulation is another determining factor for energy saving, because it allows the reduction of the boiler consumption to up to 10% thanks to the reduction of head losses and temperature variations, thus promoting the energy efficiency of the installation. Thanks to its innovative material and high insulation capacity, the NIRON system was chosen for the water supply systems of the Hipotel Arena in Mallorca. Its quality and reliability allow the system to provide the highest level of useful life and energy saving in sanitary systems. The thermal conductivity of the NIRON system is in fact 240 times lower than steel pipes and 1600 times lower than copper pipes. Different types of pipes were used for the installations of the Hipotel Arena. NIRON RC pipes for the reuse of recycled rainwater, monolayer NIRON pipes for the transport of domestic cold water and NIRON Clima pipes for the air-conditioning system - a 4-pipe system that provides cold and warm at the same time, thus guaranteeing greater comfort throughout the hotel.
