NIRON PP-RCT pipes and fittings have been selected for the transport of chilled water within the air conditioning system in the expansion project of an industrial plant in Massachusetts. The difficulty of this installation proved to be quite high since the pipes were installed more than 15 meters above the ground. The electrofusion welding system made the job much easier than it would have been with the butt welding system. The NIRON BETA system represents a valid alternative to steel pipes thanks to its inertia to any corrosion caused by water and its particular chemical composition. The system is made of PP-RCT, a new generation material that guarantees high performance in the presence of higher pressures especially at high temperatures.
