NIRON PPR INSTALLED IN SENIOR HOUSING IN BELGIUM

NIRON CLIMA PPR pipes and fittings have been installed in a senior housing in Andenne, Belgium. NUPI polypropylene systems are particularly suitable for installation in collective buildings such as senior housing and hospitals, thanks in particular to the significant advantages that they can obtain, i.e. reduction of system costs thanks to greater hydraulic capacity (due to a reduced thickness of even 18%), lower piping weight, high performance under pressure and reduced piping diameter in some projects. Polypropylene pipes with fiberglass are made up of several layers. The inner and outer layer are made of polypropylene (PP-R or PP-RCT) and the intermediate layer is composed of a specific PP-R or PP-RCT containing a given percentage of fiberglass. The technological contribution of fiberglass consists mainly in lower thermal expansion and higher resistance to expansion/contraction that make the product more stable to temperature variations from a dimensional point of view. The pipes and fittings that compose the NIRON range are suitable for the distribution of hot and cold water in plumbing and air-conditioning systems and are made using random copolymer polypropylene, a plastic material with a special molecular structure that ensures high mechanical resistance and duration, even at high temperatures and pressures.
