NUPI Industrie Italiane recently completed the renovation of the pool water supply system at the Busto Garolfo municipal swimming pool. The project involved the complete replacement of the existing lines with pipes from the NIRON Beta range, chosen for their full compatibility with pool water chemical treatments and their high operational reliability. All the water supply connections on the long sides of the internal pool (25 meters by 8 lanes) were reconnected, restoring the supply circuit up to the interface in the control unit. The work was performed using butt fusion and electrofusion welding methods, allowing for rapid installation and ensuring structural continuity of the system. Pool water supply systems require materials that offer corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, and reliability in the presence of chemicals such as chlorine and oxidizing agents. It is also essential to ensure proper hydraulic balancing flow distribution through the use of fittings to maintain water quality and circulation efficiency. This project is part of a broader renovation of the swimming pool facility, which also included renovating the roof and poolside cladding. With the completion of the work last week, the facility is now fully renovated and ready to provide efficient and safe service to its users.
