The validity of radiant systems for air conditioning in civil and industrial environments is increasingly widespread and appreciated, thanks to the undoubted intrinsic qualities of the system, among which the thermo-hygrometric wellbeing and the versatility of use. The radiant floor, ceiling and wall systems are among the best solutions in terms of internal comfort and guarantee a high energy saving. The advantage that radiant cooling systems have in common is that of offering both heating and cooling functions with a single system. NUPI Industrie Italiane has been successfully offering its Eloweb Systems for underfloor heating and cooling for years and has integrated its range with the Eloweb DryWall System, a new wall and ceiling heating and cooling solution combined with a dry installation method which improves heat distribution and environmental comfort. The wall or ceiling heating and cooling systems are used when it is not possible to intervene on the floors, ensuring a homogeneous distribution of the temperatures without the presence of annoying drafts. In particular, the Eloweb DryWall System consists of a plasterboard panel in which the radiant pipe is pre-installed with a 50 mm or 75 mm installation pitch and a layer of insulating material or reinforcement mesh applied to the rear side of the panel. Panels are used in public and private environments, in dry places and in environments at risk of humidity, such as bathrooms and kitchens. They allow the heating of buildings during the winter, using relatively low flow temperatures and therefore in line with the new provisions on energy saving. The Eloweb DryWall system is used in new buildings where low thermal inertia systems are required both in heating and cooling and in renovations where removing the existing flooring is an excessive discomfort or where it is desired to preserve valuable flooring. The main features and advantages of the system are the reduced installation times thanks to the integrated pipes, the economical solution that does not require masonry work, the diffusion of homogeneous heat that allows a fair exchange of the room temperature with that generated by the heating system, guaranteeing heating without sudden changes in temperature, modularity and perfect architectural integration thanks to panels of different geometry for better coverage and reduction of the humidity factor with elimination of mold and bad smells.
