PMI DAY INDUSTRIAMOCI IN BUSTO ARSIZIO PLANT

On the occasion of the 10th National Day for small and medium-sized enterprises, NUPI Industrie Italiane received the visit of class II A of the "Bellotti" secondary school at its headquarters in Busto Arsizio. The Union of Industrialists of the province of Varese promoted this meeting to bring young people closer to the industrial world. The students visited the warehouses and production plant and interviewed the Chief Executive Officer Marco Genoni and the Chairman Luigi Genoni. They asked them many questions, from the most traditional ones focusing on the origins of the company and the type of production, to the most modern ones on the presence of women in the company, safety and the environmental impact. Since 2010, PMI DAY-INDUSTRIAMOCI allows small and medium enterprises associated with Confindustria to open their doors to young people, but also to administrators of local authorities, to the media and to all those who interact with the activities of a company. The initiative is designed to help spread the knowledge of the productive reality of companies and their daily commitment to growth, through a direct experience in the company. The opening days involve hundreds of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as thousands of visitors and allow them to see how products and services originate and to capture the experience of the people who contribute to making them. It is also an opportunity to talk about the company's history, pride, values and culture that underlie the daily work of the people who are part of it.
