ELOFIT high density polyethylene fittings Ø560mm (22") have been installed for the construction of a new water pipeline on the territory of the Exposition of Achievements of the National Economy in Moscow. The Exposition of Achievements of the National Economy is a permanent Trade Center and Exposition located in Moscow, in the Ostankinskij district in the north-east of the city. At the time of the Soviet Union, the Exposition of Achievements of the National Economy was one of the main tourist attractions of the city. Created in 1939, it was originally a large agricultural exhibition park and 20 years later Krusciov transformed it into a park to celebrate the country's economic, scientific and technological achievements. After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the various pavilions were taken over by private companies. More than 70 of them have been transformed into exhibition stands for industrial products. A visit to the Exposition of Achievements of the National Economy is a real experience on Russian identity. The 59 pavilions contain different aspects, passing from the cosmonautical museum where the glories of the past space race are celebrated, to the IT Center that hosts the simulations of the latest technological findings applied to the metropolitan city.
