A NUPI seminar about the different joining techniques of PE and PPR pipes and fittings was held last Thursday May 23rd in collaboration with Accademia Termoidraulica plumbing school in Cagliari, Italy. The speakers, i.e. NUPI Sales Manager Matteo Capacchione and Gabriele Olgiati, from NUPI Technical/Quality Control Department, have discussed the topic analyzing the application fields of PPR systems and the electrofusion and polyfusion technologies, also through some practical demonstrations to illustrate the different ways of joining polyethylene and polypropylene pipes. The Accademia Termoidraulica regularly organizes trainings and specialization courses with the aim of satisfying the needs for improvement and growth of professional skills through practical and theoretical lessons conducted by professional experts in the plumbing field to allow designers and installers in the field of residential, commercial, directional and industrial building engineering to be always up to date on new technologies, the best performing materials, management and remote control, just to mention the most recent topics.
