NUPI Industrie Italiane S.p.A. installed its Eloweb Strong radiant heating system as part of the conservation/rehabilitation project of the Primary School of Viale Puglie in Milan, Italy. The prefabricated building was built in 1972. NUPI Cherry 5-layer PE-RT (17x2) mm pipe was used for the floor radiant system. This type of pipe has an EVOH intermediate layer that acts as a barrier to oxygen diffusion through the wall thickness. A perfect solution for use in radiant floor heating and cooling systems; the choice of PE-RT type 2 is a further guarantee of superior quality, as this grade of PE-RT has the highest performance in temperature. The Strong radiant system, just like all the other systems of the Eloweb product range by NUPI Industrie Italiane, is completed with all the components necessary for the correct installation of the system, including a wide range of insulating panels, perimeter strips, networks, distribution manifolds and thermoregulation accessories. Today, the Eloweb System can boast many installations in small and large private residential, industrial and collective buildings such as schools, multi-purpose centers, hospitals and gyms where the savings in terms of costs and energy and safety are of primary importance.
