This is a special season for Gorla Volley: less than a month ago, they celebrated the under 18 provincial title and now they made an encore by winning promotion to Series B2 one day in advance. As a matter of fact, with the success obtained on May 2nd on Meda field, Orsa Foam mathematically obtained the success in Group A of Series C, obtaining the passage to the higher category. The 3-1 on the Brianza field was not easy, because, in the last part of the championship, Gorla lost a bit of polish after a long and winning season, also due to the injury of the starting setter Sbertoli. The closest pursuer, Team Lazzate, however, only managed to nibble a point when the Bees won 3-2 in Tradate, but the advantage accumulated allowed them to conclude with a flourish and to center their return to B2, three years after their last participation in this category.
